Broadcaster

In May of 2000, broadcasting history was made when Dan landed his first radio job in Sedona, Arizona. (OK, not history, but he does intend to make his mark on it!) As a child it was always a dream to work in radio and sports broadcasting. Now, having enjoyed working in formats such as AM/FM, internet radio, voiceovers, sports play-by-play and public address announcing, his broadcasting career has spanned over 16 years!
Dan spent three seasons working for the Joliet Jackhammers baseball organization in the Northern League in Joliet, Illinois as Public Address Announcer. Dan says about working in professional baseball, albeit in the minor league level, was “some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life!”
Of course after many years of already working in the industry, he decided to go back to school to learn more about audio/video editing, producing and writing. So in 2014 Dan became a graduate of The Illinois Media School Chicago Campus, (formerly Illinois Center for Broadcasting).
When he’s not performing you can hear him filling in on Eagle Country – The Black Hills’ leader in Real Country Variety. Contact Dan for more info on any voiceover or audio production needs you may have. Below are some podcast examples from his radio show Danimal Planet.
